TECH PLANNING NEWS

The Tech Planning Office welcomes Kevin Kurzinski as our newest Technology Planner, replacing Kim Caird.

Kevin brings many skills to the position based on his experience as a service provider and most recently as Team Leader and Sr. Data Processing Coordinator for the Communications Team  for the RIC.

Kevin looks forward to working with districts as their RIC liaison for services and assisting districts in the technology planning process.

793 STANDARDS UPDATE: 

At their Spring 2008 meeting the 793 Standards committee approved and updated the following standards for the MORIC Region:

• Wireless Appplications: Nortel and Cisco
• Microsoft Office 2007
• SchoolMessenger - Emergency Broadcast System
• Ensemble - Video Management and Sharing
• VM Ware - Server virtualization

Vista Update: At this time VISTA was not approved as a MORIC Standard. Please see the link on the left for more information.
