The Technical Services team provides districts with a wide array of technical expertise in the areas of computers, software, peripherals, digital printers, infrastructure, network and telecommunications technologies. The team of about 50 technology professionals supports the operation of desktop, laptop and tablet computers and maintains approximately 200 physical servers and 250 virtual servers across the five-county MORIC service region. The team also partners with other Regional Information Centers to support disaster recovery needs for participating districts. Some technical services available through MORIC include: wireless networks, data backups, server virtualization, Internet filtering, email and email archiving, forensics, desktop and server management, workstation installations, Voice Over IP, and SysOp training.
